Sarah McLeeson

Manager of Trade Policy

Sarah McLeeson serves as the manager of trade policy for the U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council, a non-profit organization that operates globally to promote the use of U.S. barley, corn, sorghum and related products including ethanol. In this capacity, McLeeson assists with the development and implementation of USGBC programs pertaining to trade policy and market access issues including seed technology, harmonization of international regulations related to nutrient, plant protection products and sustainability. She also supports overseas offices with the development of appropriate resources to execute regional and country trade policy and market access initiatives.

Previously, McLeeson served as the trade policy coordinator. She organized staff and member travel, made arrangements for visiting trade teams and facilitated program planning and execution for the trade policy team.

Prior to joining the Council, McLeeson interned at the Greater Cleveland Partnership as the small business growth programs intern, the National Conference for Community and Justice as the prevention intern and the Hall Hunger Initiative as the administrative intern.

McLeeson holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with emphases in economic study and sustainability from the University of Dayton.
