Afi Kpadenou serves as the accounting coordinator for the U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council (USGBC), a non-profit organization that operates globally to promote the use of U.S. barley, corn, sorghum and related products including ethanol. In this role, Kpadenou will primarily support the finance department by processing payment related tasks – such as ensuring complete documentation – and reconciling credit card transactions and assisting the general daily operation of the finance department.
Before joining the Council, she served as an accountant at Orisme and Associates, handling daily accounting tasks including payment and accounts receivable related activities, bank reconciliation and supporting audit preparation and financial documentation.
Kpadenou holds an associate’s degree in accounting and business administration from the University of Lomé and a bachelor’s degree in data science from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
