USGBC Accounts Payable Manager Mevis Clarck Reaches 20 Years Of Service

U.S. Grains & BioProducts Council (USGBC) Accounts Payable Manager Mevis Clarck was honored for her 20 years of service to the organization at its 23rd International Marketing Conference and 66th Annual Membership Meeting in Panama City, Panama last month.

Clarck, based in the Council’s Washington, D.C. headquarters, joined the organization as accounting coordinator in 2005 and assumed her current position in 2022.

“My role at the Council is to maintain clean, reliable and representative accounting records to ensure the trust of external stakeholders,” Clarck said.

“Over the years, I have witnessed many changes at all levels, but what keeps this organization strong are its values and mission, which we all have a responsibility to continue to safeguard.”

Clarck said she was originally drawn to the Council because of the human connection she felt and the Council’s work in improving lives in markets around the world.

When she isn’t in the office, Clarck enjoys outdoor activities and spending as much time as possible with her family.

“When I think about Mevis and her 20 years with the Council, what immediately comes to mind is how much care she puts into her work and how dependable she is. Mevis often says, ‘Let the paper speak for itself,’ and that really captures her approach of believing in clear, complete documentation and in getting the details right the first time,” said Addis Tilahun, USGBC director of finance.

“Mevis brings a steady, confident presence to her role, driven by a genuine love for her work and a strong sense of responsibility that makes her an invaluable part of our team. I am truly fortunate to benefit from her experience, work ethic and dedication. Congratulations, Mevis!”

Please join the Council in congratulating Mevis on her 20 years of dedication to the Council!
